As I completed an early evening errand near our home here in North Naples, Fla., I noticed that two Collier County Sheriff’s Office deputies were out on a call. I was at the Malibu Lakes community to pick up a Christmas gift that was forgotten over the past weekend, when I passed these two CCSO patrol units parked in front of one the Malibu Lakes units. I’m not sure what was up, but there were no flashing lights or signs that anything was happening. (Monday, Dec. 26, 2022).
