I always choose my favorite photo for the previous year and for 2022, I’m choosing a photo that has more meaning than being a “great” photograph. Here’s a shot I got out of the window of the jet as we landed at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on the night Jan. 27, 2022 – PST, since we left Florida and landed in California. We were arriving in southern California to visit our daughter after the birth of our first grandchild. The photograph is interesting as it shows the density of southern California near a major airport. We’ll remember 2022 first and foremost because of our grandchild.
