We only have to look in our yard for the ‘Year of the Rabbit’

The lunar new year or, as some call it, the Chinese New Year, began this past Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023, and is called the Year of the Rabbit. Well, while a big portion of Asia has begun its Year of the Rabbit, we continue to have wild rabbits that make their home(s) in the bushes at our home here in Naples, Fla. The population wanes sometimes – I suspect a snake might move into the area and finds several dinners – but we always have rabbits whenever we look outside. I got this shot on Jan. 24, 2023, of a rabbit in the side yard between our home and our neighbor’s home.
