The service alley behind (north side) of the Headquarters branch of the Collier County Public Library is just that … an alley. However, when parking gets tight, then it becomes a street in Manhattan with vehicles parked nose-to-tail for as far as you can see. With both the wonderfully revived annual GreekFest at the St. Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church and a seafood festival happening at opposing corners of the library branch’s intersection throughout this weekend, the branch’s parking lot remained full all day long on Saturday … with many more festivalgoers than library patrons. I got this shot a few minutes after 6 p.m. today (Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023) here in our hometown of Naples, Fla.
