Today’s “must” movie is one of those bad films that became a cult favorite: “Office Space.” Here’s a film that takes aim at the soulless lack-of-intelligence that infects all large corporations. “Office Space” mocks useless bosses; mocks useless processes; and mocks how corporations operate on a daily basis to the detriment of the whole staff. “Office Space” just isn’t a very good movie despite the brilliance of writer-director Mike Judge of “Beavis and Butt-Head” fame, yet, you need to watch it.
From Ron Livingston to now-megastar Jennifer Aniston to wormy boss Gary Cole and his “yeaaaaaa” drawl, you get a worthy cast with “Office Space.” However, they don’t really show much, with only a couple giving a notable performance. You then have some that shouldn’t have been in the film at all. Still, “Office Space” is more than worth your time.
“Office Space” will take several viewings for you to develop the full appreciation of the sublime greatness of it. You can get started today for the first of those viewings.
So, make sure you go out of your way to watch “Office Space.” You won’t be disappointed … I guarantee it!
