The new Aubrey Rogers High School in North Naples, Fla., is about two months away from opening for the fall 2023-24 school year, but there’s still a bunch of construction at the site! I got this shot on May 27, 2023, as I was driving in the area. It’s not much of a photo, but I hope to get a better one after the school opens in August. The new high school will be the “Patriots” and is the latest high school for Collier County. As a note: When I was a young journalist in Naples, I covered law enforcement and knew Aubrey Rogers. It is a great name to be remembered for Naples and Collier County! (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
