Today’s “must” movie is “Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows.” Here’s the sequel to the big family-friendly hit of “The Trouble With Angels.” The original is absolutely great … the sequel? Well, not so great, but it is watchable and has more depth than you might imagine.
In “Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows,” the story extends past the original of teenaged Catholic girls getting into trouble (no, not that kind of trouble in a different kind of film). In the sequel, a progressive nun makes waves in a most endearing way.
Of course, “Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows” is a totally family-friendly film that was created for a conservative market, but you’ll find solid work from the iconic veteran Rosalind Russell to Stella Stevens, who plays the progressive nun.
Absolutely nothing will offend you with “Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows” and you do not have to have watched the original to appreciate this one. However, having watched the original will help you appreciate the sequel.
You’ll have some trouble in finding “Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows.” Still, make the effort to check it out today! It’s a family-friendly film in this day-and-age of slime. You won’t be disappointed. I guarantee it!
