Rain, rain … COME THIS WAY! Here’s what appears to be a rainstorm approaching, but I’m cynical. There’s an oldie hit called “Who’ll Stop the Rain” that was written by John Fogerty and performed by the iconic group Creedence Clearwater Revival. What we need is, “Who’ll START the rain!” We’re parched and need rain and more rain here in North Naples, Fla., but haven’t seen much this summer. I sometimes believe our entire neighborhood and portions of North Naples are under a curse and that we get less precipitation because of it. In any case, record heat combined with little rain makes for a hot, hot, hot summer! I got this shot this morning (Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023) at our home here in Naples.
