I always notice a license plate that is themed for a branch of the U.S. military. However, some stand out more than others … and here’s an example of that conjecture: A Marine Corps license tag on a Maserati! It’s not that I’d ever believe that a U.S. Marine will not ever get a Maserati (or a Ferrari or a Lambo or a whatever), but I noticed this one because the driver was obviously enjoying a nice day to have the drop-top down on his Maserati. A salute to you, sir, whomever you are! I got this shot while stopped at a red light here in Naples, Fla., on Sept. 19, 2023. As I always do, I removed the tag number for the owner’s privacy.
