A scooter in the “fast” lane of three lanes of traffic on one of the most congested highways here in Naples, Fla.? Of course. Here’s a rider on a scooter who will in moments from the red light changes to green, being passed by … well, everyone behind her. Fortunately, she turned off into a stylish strip mall before causing any crashes (although three vehicles managed to pass her from behind in her own lane). I understand the legality of the scooter in traffic, but … dang! You take your life into your own hands doing this kind of maneuver. I got this shot today (Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023) while stopped a red light in North Naples. (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
