While in your gondola on the Disney Skyliner system, you get a different kind of view of the overall Walt Disney World property as well as seeing a string of gondolas ahead of you. It’s a view from on-high and allows a different perspective of the property. I took this shot during my first ride on the Skyliner system, having departed the depot adjacent to EPCOT on Sept. 8, 2023. When we were last at WDW in September 2019, the Skyliner transportation system was in the final stage of construction. So, my first order of business at our recent visit was to ride the Skyliner. It took me from EPCOT near our rooms at the Disney’s Yacht Club Resort to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, where I debarked and caught a gondola back to EPCOT. I could have gone on to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but it was just a quick trip I wanted to take. You can see Disney’s Riviera Resort, which opened in December 2019, in the distance.
