As 2023 comes to a close on this Dec. 31, here’s my favorite “artsy” photo that I took during the past year. It uses light and shadows (and a lighthouse) and is just a wonderful image in the early morning sunlight. I was waiting for a a ride on one of the FriendShip boats to take me to Disney’s BoardWalk for breakfast on Sept. 11, 2023, when I got this shot at the lighthouse at the end of the dock of Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and the Beach Club. The shadows of two fellow guests waiting for the vessel make for such a wonderful photo. We were just back at Walt Disney World for a four-night, five-day stay after our last visit in September 2019.
