I was off work today (Friday, Jan. 26, 2024) and managed to get up to my favorite golf driving range: the Golf Coast Driving Range in Estero. The range is normally quiet, but the parking lot was full today and there was a lot of activity. The Village of Estero purchased the property and so I’m not sure how long the driving range will remain in operation. Some early proposals had the land off Williams Road near the Coconut Point shopping center being turned into a water park or pickleball courts.
