OK, it’s a new year and I was looking for a little way I could help my beloved University of Florida Gators football team get a little good karma going this coming season. So, I got the UF license tag with the updated design: It has a royal blue background, the Gator head logo and a scaly backdrop! My first new tag, though, had a problem – its number/letter combination was inauspicious and I didn’t notice at the North Collier Government Center, where I got the tag this past Friday. So, I got a different one, with a better number — and I’ve blocked out several of the digits on the tag. I got this shot at our home here in Naples, Fla., on Jan. 30, 2024, after getting the newest tag.
