After I got this shot of a patron at the Headquarters branch of the Collier County Public Library this evening (Thursday, March 7, 2024), the word “concentration” popped into my mind. The patron was obviously concentrating on whatever he was reading, but I recalled the TV game show of the same name. Interestingly, “Concentration” was on TV from 1958 until 1991 under various guises but with the same root premise: concentrate to remember things. For trivia buffs, three of the hosts of the show over the years included showbusiness legends Hugh Downs, Alex Trebek and Ed “Here’s Johnny” McMahon. I was on an evening errand when I cruised through the library parking lot and managed to get this shot.
