Key on the desk means the office has closed

Here’s a photo of my office key that I left on my desk on the last day the office would be open (yes, we still had used old-fashioned metal keys instead of cards or push-button lock). Yesterday, Friday, May 31, 2024, was “key stays on the desk” day with the closing – our office here in Naples, Fla., has merged with another at the other location. I had worked at that location for a week past 8½ years. I left my so-called “desk buddies,” but took the daily calendar as it is truly interesting or funny each day. Click here to see photos of all my “desk buddies” over the years … (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
