It’s been nearly six years since our family (or a member of our family) has made a visit to Washington D.C. However, one member is there today (Sunday, June 16, 2024) on a long weekend visit to see a friend. This photo was taken Friday, June 14, at the start of the visit. It’s always great to see the wonderful monuments of our nation’s capital and the Washington Monument is one of the primary spots to visit to celebrate the great history of our country.
