Today is Friday, Oct. 4, 2024, and that makes it our national Golf Lover’s Day! There are several “golf” days during the year, but this is the date most recognized. Golf is a wonderful sport you can enjoy throughout most of you life from an early age to past retirement (in fact, golf does define many retirees’ lives). So, remember golf today and get out on the course or a driving range. Here is a photo of three decorative golf balls on a bookcase in our home here in Naples, Fla. I use regular golf balls when I play, but also have a few on the decorative side – including, of course, for my beloved University of Florida Gators. I got the shot today, Oct. 4.
