I’m never ceased to be amazed when my vehicle’s range on a tank of gas expands after having driven a few miles! I topped off my tank yesterday (Monday, Oct. 7, 2024) to have a full tank since Hurricane Milton is headed for Florida’s west coast. As you can see from my dashboard readout, in eight miles driven over 16 minutes, my range increased from 417 miles to 497 miles! Yay! However, I don’t believe it for a moment, since I average about 32 miles per gallon on an 11-gallon tank – you do the math!
