One thing that has affected residents of the Naples/Collier County region of Southwest Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton is the loss of power. Thousands still were without electricity as today (Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024) comes to a close. Major intersections have had power restored, but many others have non-functioning signals. Authorities in Collier County put up stop signs at intersections and most folks are taking the courteous path! I got this shot today while stopped waiting my turn to proceed in North Naples.
