MLB’s Opening Day 2025 was a “three dog” afternoon at our house here in Naples, Fla. Opening Day of Major League Baseball was today (Thursday, March 27) and for the past several years I’ve tried to watch an entire game … without success. I used to follow the game closely and played fantasy baseball for more than 15 seasons beginning with a “Rotisserie league” in 1985. However, my interest has waned in recent years, but I continue to try … and I got through today’s New York Yankees-Milwaukee Brewers tilt! Of course, I did have a little help from my hot dogs (beef, of course … none of that turkey or chicken crap) with both dill and sweet relish, minced onion and with Plochman’s original mustard.
