Here’s proof positive that our “winter season” is at an end here in Southwest Florida: A car hauler doing business outside a gated community! With our seasonal friends (read: “snowbirds”) ready to head back home, the sight of car haulers will become more frequent in the next two weeks or so. Folks used to either drive down for the “season” or fly and have a “Naples car” at their winter home, but now it is more common to ship their vehicles each season. I got this shot today (Monday, April 21, 2025) near our home here in Naples, Fla. The car hauler was outside the Pelican Marsh community.
