Today’s Friday morning (May 16, 2025) continued the decoy duty of this Collier County Sheriff’s Office patrol cruiser! It has been at this spot in North Naples, Fla., for several days. Decoy duty is part of the CCSO’s traffic enforcement plan, but is often used near schools. However, this vehicle (note it is an older patrol sedan and not a newer SUV or pickup truck) has been placed near a high-volume crossroads. I got the shot today as I ran an early morning errand near our home.
