I’ve noted how much we’ve needed rain here in Southwest Florida and the region HAS returned to a normal patter of summer showers in the afternoon! Thankfully, for the sixth- or seventh-straight day today (Tuesday, June 17, 2025), we had rain here at our home in Naples. It means growing season for our plants and St. Augustine grass and reduces the threat of wildfires in the rural regions of Southwest Florida! I got this shot as I drove on an errand today near our home.Click here to see other of my photos about the weather … (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
