A tropical weather disturbance has settled over much of the Florida peninsula and poses a bit of negative weather as we approach the Fourth of July holiday for 2025 this coming Friday. We’ve had overcast and rainy weather for several days and here’s a shot I got yesterday (Tuesday, June 30, 2025) showing the overcast and a U.S. flag in a Naples, Fla., neighborhood near our home. We’ll be keeping an eye on the system, which may further develop into the weekend.
