Well, I’m all set with snacks and food for this weekend’s kickoff to the 2025 college football season. It’s Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, and here’s a photo of the shrimp and sun-dried tomato pesto and farfalle pasta that’s ready, too. I did some cooking yesterday (the photo was taken Aug. 21 at our home here in Naples, Fla.) and will also be grilling, as usual, some Italian sausage. My beloved University of Florida Gators open their season on Aug. 30, 2025, but I’m still gonna be watching other teams tomorrow. The first game up will be Iowa State at Kansas State in a matchup of pre-season ranked teams.
