The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is using updated equipment to warn drivers about excessive speed. I write “updated” because the unit used red and blue lights as a warning. Only law enforcement can use those colors as emergency flashers. Seen from a distance, you believe a CCSO patrol unit has pulled someone over and you become even more cautious. I got this shot last night as I was running a late errand from our home here in Naples, Fla. The image comes off my vehicle’s dashcam and the speed is for the vehicle ahead of me and not mine!
