Today (Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025) is both national Cooking Day and Binge Day. While Binge Day is for binging watching tee-vee shows or movie franchises, you can use the name and combine it with Cooking Day to enjoy a taste treat … such as the cheese dogs I cooked up today in the air fryer at our home here in Naples, Fla. Here’s the explanation for Binge Day: “Binge Day is celebrated annually on September 25 as a fun and relaxing day to binge-watch your favorite movie, series, or T.V. show. The day is not a federal holiday, so it is not a day off, unless it falls on the weekend.” As for Cooking Day: “National Cooking Day encourages and inspires each of us to discover something new and enjoyable in the kitchen.” (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
