An old advertising slogan went … sometimes you feel like a nut; sometimes you don’t! Well, every Feb. 26 is national Pistachio Day and today is Feb. 26, 2026, so it’s the day you can feel like a … pistachio nut! From online sources: “(Pistachios) contain as much protein as an egg per serving and myriad of other nutrients. They are part of a very nutty, yet irritating family of plants, the evergreen family, which includes mangoes, pistachios, cashews, and yup… poison ivy!” I got this shot this morning at our home here in Naples, Fla.
