We have begun “Read an e-Book Week,” which is the first full week of March each year. I am a lifetime devotee of the printed word, but have also found myself a big fan of the Kindle e-reader family. Here is a photo showing my three outdated Kindle devices and my active ones: a Kindle Paperwhite and a Kindle Fire 8. I almost exclusively buy e-books now, but still buy first editions in print of a couple of my favorite authors. I got this shot at our home here in Naples, Fla., today (March 1, 2026).
