Today (March 3) is the annual Canadian Bacon Day for 2026. Each March 3, some folks celebrate the cut called Canadian bacon and it differs from the bacon we usually enjoy in the U.S. from breakfast sides to garnishments for hamburgers and cheeseburgers at lunches and dinners. I got a jump start on Canadian Bacon Day yesterday (March 2, 2026) as I got this shot of slices being cooked on the stove of our home here in Naples, Fla.
