Today (March 19 in 2026) is international Read to Me Day and that’s special for two reasons: It’s always great to include books in any celebration and also reading to another person is great for both! Our granddaughters are learning to read and enjoy having books and stories read to them. Read to Me Day is celebrated every March 19. As an illustration, I’m using a photo I shot at Walt Disney World of “Belle” reading a book during the Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage performance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I got this shot on Jan. 11, 2019. So, pick up a book and read it to someone today! (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
