It has been some time since I posted a “What’s This?” entry on my blog. So, for today (Wednesday, March 18, 2026) … let’s look at the big photo above. What the heck is that blob? I’ve got it beside my laptop computer and my only clue will be that it is much more functional than it appears and that it has the consistency of somewhat firm mush. It is also pretty yucky when you touch it! I took the photo today at our home here in Naples, Fla.
