It’s no surprise today in 2026 that you need to evaluate everything and anything you see or read on the internet, especially photographs and videos. It’s nearly a given that the images used to tease podcasts, vlogs and other videos on popular sites are clickbait lies. Take the image you see in this post. I took the shot of our family room tee-vee yesterday (Monday, May 4, 2026) that teases a video about a “then-and-now” update for the once-popular network sitcom “Two and a Half Men.” The image shows a photo collage of the onetime child actor Angus T. Jones with a large “RIP” and an image of a graveyard headstone. Look closely: The dates on the headstone say March 9, 1901, to March 12, 2030. So, the first implication is that Jones has died; the second that he was born in 1901; and that he “died” or will “die” in the year-to-come of 2030 at age of 129. Of course, Jones is alive at the age of 32 in May 2026 and I certainly didn’t watch the video to see if it was correct because of the egregious lie of the promotional teaser photo.
