If I had to make an evaluation, I’d say a majority of our seasonal residents here in Naples, Fla., have returned north for the summer. However, a few car haulers continue their activities and my dashcam picked up this image this afternoon (Tuesday, May 5, 2026) of one outside the Pelican Marsh subdivision near our home in North Naples. The car hauler was making this pickup today and such sights are common in the spring as the so-called “snowbirds” migrate back to northern climates!
