I’m attempting to declutter my closet and so have to address the issue of 100+ vinyl LP albums (housed partially in a “record crate” from the defunct “Peaches” record store chain). Most of the LPs were bought in the late 1960s and into the mid-1980s, representing all music genres from rock to pop to country to new age. I’m planning to have the LPs appraised since they have been gathering dust for 30 years or so and maybe someone else can get some enjoyment before the LP technology dies our. I staged this photo of several album covers, including “Autoamerican” by “Blondie” from 1980; “The Monkees,” which was the first album released by “The Monkees” in 1966; Alice Cooper’s “From the Inside” from 1978; and “Steppenwolf” by the band “Steppenwolf” from 1968. I took this photo at our home today (Tuesday, June 9, 2026) at our home here in Naples, Fla.
