Each June 11 is national Corn on the Cob Day and since today is Thursday, June 11, 2026, you need to keep your ears open to hear some corn being cooked! Every day has some sort of special “day” designation and many times it is food. However, since I enjoy corn so much, Corn on the Cob Day is especially nice. I’m repurposing my photo of ears of sweet corn from my post last year for the “holiday.” I got this shot of six ears of sweet corn as I prepared to cook them here at our home in Naples, Fla. Click here to see all my photographs of corn … (Remember: Click on the small image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
