I never expect to see a contrail, but just basically react when I do spot one: I photograph it! Contrails, helicopters, cranes, sunrises and sunsets are among my favorite photographic subjects to post on my blog. When I returned to our home in Naples, Fla., this morning (Saturday, July 11, 2026), I spotted this contrail over our home! So, I photographed it and you see it on this post!
