My mail-in ballot is on its way, but our mailbox keeps receiving campaign material on a daily basis (well, except for Sundays) ahead of the Nov. 3, 2026, general election. At least the materials are small and light and so our USPS staff member isn’t groaning under the weight of each residence’s snail mail onslaught. I covered over the most recent mailings with the outside envelope left after I sent in my mail-in ballot. I wouldn’t want to promote any specific candidate or show the critical comments about each’s opponents. I took the photo today (Friday, Oct. 23, 2026) at our home in Naples, Fla. BTW … the Collier County Supervisor of Elections Office does a wonderfully efficient and professional job with mail-in ballots.
