I guess the best way to grow something is to ignore it. After several failed attempts over the years to grow a jalapeño, I just got this one, stuck it in a container … and promptly forgot about it outside our pool lanai in Naples, Fla. The result? You see it here. Dang! Wish I could take credit for it.
