Well, I know there is Halloween stuff at stores other than Party City, but when the Christmas stuff goes up in September, you know that retail America doesn’t care about Halloween and Thanksgiving any more. Here’s the first display of Christmas accoutrements going onto shelves at the Walmart near our home in Naples, Fla., on Sept. 25, 2016.
