My movie reviews A-Z: Today … ‘The Departed’

My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “The Departed.” Here is Martin Scorsese’s best and, while profane, violent and disturbing, it all works better than his other f-bomb-laced gangster efforts and easily surpasses the mangled dreck of f-bomb hell in “The Wolf of Wall Street.” “The Departed” is simply American cinema at its finest. There isn’t one bad acting job in “The Departed” and the primary cast is as good as it gets. Oh, “The Departed” is a modern telling of the cops-and-robbers action. However, there are no surprises with “The Departed” … just magnificent acting and filmmaking.

I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
