My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “The Hot Rock.” Here’s a Robert Redford film I’m sure you won’t remember. It’s a crime caper in which Redford and his gang keep trying to steal a jewel … and keep trying and trying. “The Hot Rock” is clever because, as one character notes, there is a habitual criminal, but not the habitual crime! However, “The Hot Rock” isn’t really a great film, despite having Redford and George Segal. But don’t worry, you’ll enjoy “The Hot Rock” – as you do pretty much all of Redford’s work.
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
