My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “The Intern.” Here’s a Robert De Niro flick where, amazingly, he doesn’t curse, kill someone in a most bloody way or, like in a recent comedy effort, say astonishingly crude lines. “The Intern” is about a widower at 70 who gets an internship in a internet start-up. As “The Intern,” he’s assigned to help the founder, Anne Hathaway, and brings a calm, professional demeanor and professional dress to an office of, well, basically youngsters. He’s a hit and “The Intern” is fun to watch but has a nice dramatic component, too.
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
