A first: I’m congratulating the calendar maker … 4 perfect choices

I’m breaking ranks today and doing something I’ve never done before: Congratulate the calendar maker. I’ve always posted what an idiot he or she is because of all the errors, but today the calendar highlighted four perfect things for its anniversary: First, the inaugural flight of the Boeing B-29 Superfortress (one dropped the atomic bombs during World War II in 1942; second, the publication of “The Hobbit” in 1937; the first Monday Night Football telecast by ABC in 1970; and finally, and best of all, from 1912 … the birthday of the legendary and late animation director/artist Chuck Jones. If you ever saw Looney Tunes, you’ll know who I mean. Thanks for Sept. 21, 2018, on the calendar!
