My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Real Genius.” Here’s a PG-13 rated precursor to “The Big Bang Theory.” “Real Genius” is a college comedy about superbrains and their unwitting development of a space weapon. “Real Genius” has achieved a status as a “cult fave” and it deserves it: The film is pretty much tame by any standard and offers decent comedy with a young Val Kilmer headlining in just his second film. You’ll probably recognize “Real Genius” even if you don’t remember the name. Check it out! “Real Genius” is a frequent visitor to the cable movie networks.
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
