I’m bringing “pyramid power” to help the Florida Panthers run to the National Hockey League playoffs! I got the idea from this crystal pyramid that my wife and daughter got me during their pre-Christmas visit to Paris and Vienna in 2018. It is from the iconic Louvre museum in Paris. I also recalled a scene from a Burt Reynolds film called “Semi-Tough” in which an opposing player (Carl Weathers) talks to Burt about “pyramid power” (click here to see the clip). I keep this promotional toy puck next to my computer and, before this past Saturday’s game, I put the Louvre pyramid on it – and now the Panthers have a two-game winning streak after beating Colorado in overtime last night! Tonight, they remain on the road and play Arizona, and we’re looking for another win! PS: I’m just having a little fun with this — and the Panthers are 5-1 in their past six games.
