Try this flick … “The Pentagon Wars.” Here is an early effort by HBO and was one of the films at the dawn of the non-Hollywood age. “The Pentagon Wars” is a good film – not great, mind you – and showed how a decent movie could be made outside the studio system. “The Pentagon Wars” is the story of the development of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle and the attendant lying by the military to everyone and even themselves. “The Pentagon Wars” stars Cary Elwes and Kelsey Grammer and is worth your time … even in some of those tedious moments that you’ll find.
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review and I’ve just expanded “The Pentagon Wars.”
