Sawing down mature trees … Naples commercial plazas know how!

It’s just disgusting when a commercial property saws down mature trees. Some owners say it is for “security” (the trees have foolishly grown and block lighting), but absolutely no one believes that line – it is for signage … as in “see my business.” Here’s an example at the strip mall site in the 7900 block of Airport-Pulling Road in Naples (Fountain Park). They just sawed down these mature trees. Now, I can’t say that it was for signage, but there is simply no other explanation than seeing the businesses (if they have one … don’t believe it). I got the photo of the stump on Feb. 16, 2020, and, earlier on Feb. 12, the pile of sawn-down trees in the parking lot. Just shameful, folks. Just shameful.
