Try this flick … “Shallow Hal.” I can’t put my finger on why I like “Shallow Hal” so much, other than to say that it is endearing and has a wonderful message. Plus, “Shallow Hal” gets a boost from co-star Jack Black (and nothing from the other co-star, Gwyneth Paltrow) and is directed by the equally wonderful Farrelly brothers. “Shallow Hal” is the story of a man who is judgmental about a woman’s appearance but finds himself only able to see women for their inner beauty and not their physical attributes. He falls in love with a morbidly obese woman and I’l leave it at that. “Shallow Hal” is more than worth your time again and, if you didn’t see it for whatever silly reason you might give, then watch it now!
So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to my review, which I just expanded.
